This weekend marks the start of the Cairns Airport Adventure Festival in Port Douglas, with 3 fantastic events to kick it off – the Coral Coast Triathlon, RRR Mountain Bike Race and Hekili Great Barrier Reef Ocean Challenge. It is expected there will be around 1200 participants across the 3 events and 1000 spectators down at Four Mile Beach to cheer as the athletes cross the finish line.
As some sport requires the use of public roads and waterways, there will be changed traffic conditions on Sunday 27 May, with some road closures.
Please note:
- There will be access provided to operators needing to pickup passengers and also to employees/residents.
- The cycle course only extends to Diggers Bridge on Mowbray Road and local/tour access will be permitted.
