Port Douglas Whale Watching

Well its that time again, the Whale watching season on The Great Barrier Reef has begun.

Whilst the first sightings of the dwarf minke whale has already happened we are all keenly awaiting the migrating humpback whales in Port Douglas.

These images were taken, a few years ago by a first time visitor to the Great Barrier Reef, who happened to be a keen amateur photographer.

Not only did the lucky guests aboard Silversonic get to spend the day diving and snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef but they all were treated to an awe-inspiring whale watching experience.
