Port Douglas tourist operators mean business.
This week they’ve launched a new website with refreshed branding incorporating a new tag line, “World Heritage, World Class”.
The new website aims to make it easy, particularly, for potential business clients, who are looking to research and book an event in the Port Douglas area. The new website will make it easy to sort through the range of adventures and tours available in the Port Douglas and Daintree region.
The refreshed website and new branding are just the start of a year long, solid campaign to attract more business events to the Port Douglas and Daintree region.
Port Douglas, which is heavily reliant on tourists ,was not affected by the Queensland Floods or Tropical Cyclone Yasi however the town and surrounds has struggled with low tourist numbers since late 2008.
This new website and approach to encourage business events back could be just what Port Douglas needs to set the “World Heritage World Class” area apart from Cairns and other tourist destinations in Australia.
